McDonald’s Japan – Fandom Feast

TBWA\HAKUHODO created Fandom Feast, a live-streaming platform for McDonald’s Japan that allowed fans to share a McDonald’s meal online with their favorite artists in real time.
Each featured artist created a special “Bundle Menu,” bringing together their favorite McDonald’s items, which was made available exclusively through the McDonald’s app, inspiring fans to order, join the stream, and share the experience online.
The first campaign featured XG, merging their galactic aesthetic with the fun and joy of McDonald’s in a union of brand universes in a cross-platform activation.
By blending fandom and food culture, Fandom Feast redefines what “shared experiences” can be—and continues to grow as a new expression of fan-culture movement led by McDonald’s Japan.
