TBWA\HAKUHODO created this deeply unique animated music video referencing the central design concept for the Japan national soccer team uniform, “HORIZON.” 
While the Horizon was used to symbolize the unwavering determination of the Japan National Team and its fans to reach the new “horizon” of a FIFA World Cup™ victory, TBWA\HAKUHODO led the creative charge in partnering with globally renowned Japanese artist and vocalist Ado as a creative partner for the song “Kira.”

 

The story in the music video depicts a fictional World Cup final where Japan’s players face off against formidable opponents who undergo a monstrous metamorphosis during the match, evolving into creatures of overwhelming power.

 

The music video stars former Japan National player Shunsuke Nakamura and judoka Uta Abe in cameo roles along with extras playing supporters selected from an open call.
