TBWA\HAKUHODO wins five awards at Spikes Asia, including Grand Prix for SHELLMET and Gold for NISSAN ProPILOT Mop

TBWA\HAKUHODO has won a total of five awards at Spikes Asia 2024, one of the largest and most prestigious creative communication award festivals in the Asia-Pacific region. Three awards were won for SHELLMET, planned and produced by the agency, including the Grand Prix in the innovation category. The NISSAN ProPILOT Mop project won two awards including Gold in the Creative Strategy category, totaling five wins for TBWA\HAKUHODO.

Held annually in Singapore as an Asia-Pacific region focused version of Cannes Lions, Spikes Asia is the premier industry festival and creative benchmark for the region, calling itself “the home of APAC creativity”.
The winner of the Grand Prix in Innovation, SHELLMET is a first-of-its-kind environmentally-friendly protective helmet made from discarded scallop shells. A sophisticated and inspired structural design allows seashells that were once considered marine industrial waste to be reborn into highly durable helmets that protect human lives. Thus, creating a new loop of sustainability and environmental protection. With its minimal environmental footprint, from material sourcing to design to production, SHELLMET also received recognition in the Design category (Gold) and the PR category (Silver).
