TBWA\HAKUHODO Brings Home a Bronze at CLIO AWARDS 2020

The result of CLIO AWARDS 2020, which was canceled last year due to COVID19, has been released. This year, TBWA\HAKUHODO was awarded a Bronze in the Design-Posters category for “Yoichi Ochiai x Japan Philharmonic Orchestra Project VOL.3 <Sound-Free Concert>” which was held in 2019.

Since 2018, based on the theme of “reconstructing orchestra through technology”, Japan Phil has been collaborating with Mr. Yoichi Ochiai – a renowned Japanese media artist, PhD, and professor who strives to expand boundaries of art and culture with technology, to “update orchestras” under the project named “Yoichi Ochiai x Japan Phil Project”. Past shows include <Sound-Free Concert> for those with hearing impairment has not only expanded the value of orchestras but also has attracted international attention, winning a number of awards including Cannes Lion 2019. In 2020, the concert was held exploring the new way of enjoying orchestral music during the pandemic era with remote orchestra, online viewing with real-time video effects.
